Ten Gitmo Detainees Headed to US

Ten high-profile Guantanamo Bay detainees are being transferred to face justice in the United States. Five of the detainees will head to civilian court in New York to face charges they orchestrated 9/11 attacks, while the other five are headed for military commissions on a variety of terrorism charges. Sept. 11 Suspects to Face NYC Trial

Self-proclaimed Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other detainees will be brought to trial in a civilian U.S. courthouse in New York, near the site of the devastating 2001 terror attacks, said Attorney General Eric Holder. Prosecutors will seek the death penalty. Full release
